Charlie is a fierce bodyguard and former Marine in a tiny, blond bombshell package. She’s fine if people underestimate her because in her words, “The dumber they think I am, the harder they f**cking fall.”

She’s brought on set to protect a young actress who’s in danger of a stalker. But she didn’t see herself being drawn to Kierra’s sexy co-star, the hot British celebrity Daniel Pierce. As she works to protect her charge and investigate to find her stalker, she also struggles with the idea of finally letting herself open back up to a man after the loss of her husband.

Even though it’s against the rules, Charlie and Daniel start to explore what could be between them. But not once does Charlie stop in her mission to protect Kierra and stop whoever is after her. She is a total force. These two fight their own past traumas and secrets as they try to navigate what’s happening between them.

Charlie and Daniel are not perfect but they are certainly perfect for each other. I absolutely loved these two and the hard-fought journey they went on together to figure out what they really wanted. I can’t wait for the next part of their story.

Romance and Suspense…

The time has come for Charlie and Daniel to make their relationship known. When he’s a world famous celebrity and she’s the mysterious scarred bodyguard that people want to know more about, there’s only so long they can keep it a secret. So now they’re about to enter a whole new world of chaos.

These two have to navigate the craziness of Daniel’s celebrity status that means everyone wants to be all up in their business. But on top of that they also have to deal with a stalker who feels wronged. One who is ready to call on their demented civilian soldiers to do their bidding. There are threats all around them. As Charlie and Daniel work on building their relationship, they try to take a break from the public eye. Behind the scenes they’re working to out the threats after them.

These two can both be headstrong at times when they feel they’re right. But they try to see the situation from each other’s perspective even when that’s hard. This story is full of the steamy romance you crave and the dangerous suspense that keeps you on your toes. I love Charlie and Daniel!

These couples are so hilarious together along with all their spice. You get some will they, won’t they moments. And it’s not just about all the amazing spice they create together but also about the emotional connections they have with each other.

There are bits and pieces about their pasts and how each couple came to be that really makes you want to know more about their specific stories. So even if you haven’t read those books in this interconnected world you won’t be left with the lost feeling. Instead it just makes you want to dive in more. But this book in the Kelly Finley bookverse lets you see how these couples really become THE SIX.

I absolutely loved this blend of comedy, romance, spice, and emotional connections. I want to make sure I check off every single book in the bookverse from my TBR list. At this point in my reading I’ve read everything after this one, so now I’m looking forward to going back and reading how it all began.

Hello Daddy Dom…

When his daughter needs a bodyguard who can blend in as his personal assistant, he ends up coming face to face with the fiery woman he previously shared a passionate night with. Scarlett is a former MMA fighter ready to take on the challenge. They both find themselves reliving the memories of their time together and can’t keep away from each other now. Of course there’s also the handsome Zar too. He’s Luca’s best friend, business partner, and one of his biggest secrets.

Luca is determined to keep his family life and his behind the scenes spicy Dom life completely separate. As they get closer and closer that gets harder and more complicated.

The chemistry and spice in this book was on a whole other level. But it wasn’t just about the scorching hot moments. There were so many tender, loving, and wholesome moments too. Luca is such a tortured soul, believing he didn’t deserve the love and the life he could have with Scarlett. He constantly struggled with accepting himself and what could be.

This story was so great. I absolutely loved it. I can’t wait to check all the other books in this spicy world off my TBR list. I have to know more about all their friends and their own stories now.

The bonus chapter we all wanted…

I don’t want to give anything away that might spoil Make Him for you. But at the end of that book there was a link to a special bonus chapter featuring Luca, Scarlett, and Zar. It certainly did not disappoint. By the end of Make Him we all wanted to see more of these three and a little something that we were looking forward to.

This bonus chapter is set a bit after the conclusion of Make Him on the wedding night of another couple seen in the book. But this is more than their special night. It’s a night Zar won’t forget. And neither will we. So steamy and oh so good.

Beau and Blair…

This novella is a prequel to a new series. It’s also my first Kelly Finley book. And I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Not only am I even more curious about her other books now but with the way this ended I absolutely have to know what’s going to happen next.

Beau and Blair start out as enemies from their time in college together. But really all the pranks and arguments between them was just a way to hide how much they actually wanted each other while not being able to be together. So when they run into each other again that connection is still there because it never really went away. They decide to make the most of one night to see who can out-kink the other.

I don’t think either one of them were really prepared for all the emotions it would bring out. Their connection and the back and forth banter was so good. With the teasers we get at the end, I’m really interested in finding out more about the other people in this world. I’m looking forward to this new series.

Funny, Steamy, and All the Feels…

We first saw and felt the crazy, steamy connection between Beau and Blair in their novella, Shameless Play. This book picks up a few months later. They have loved each other since college but couldn’t be together then. Both still have intense feelings for each other but also feel they can’t be together while pursuing their dreams. But Blair can’t turn him down when Beau comes to her needing his help.

So that leads them to Blair pretending to be his girlfriend as he’s forced to deal with therapy sessions on a remote island by his NFL coach after losing the Super Bowl. They’re stuck there with his teammate to work out their problems so they can get back to winning. The biggest problem is that teammate – Colton – is none other than the man he’s also been in love with since they were teens in high school.

But since both guys are top players in the NFL, they can’t just come out as bi. So they’ve been forced to hide their feelings and stay apart. Every time they come together it’s explosive in more ways than one. They realize that the three of them together might just be the perfect match and the missing pieces. The struggle still comes with how or if such a nontraditional relationship could work. They have to decide what’s most important, being together and finding something real or being apart and keeping up an image and career. Can they have it all or do they have to choose?

This book has it all. There’s so much laughter and love, heartache and tears, hopes and dreams, struggles and strength. It was such a great read. I love diving deeper into this interconnected world that Kelly has created. Every time I read a book from her I just want more.

A little spook with your spice…

Kelly did it again. THE SIX are back and this time they’re hosting a spooky and spicy Halloween glamping week long get together that no one will be able to forget. Prepare for all the comedy, spice, and emotion that you can always count on from our Queen of Spice.

Each night someone gets the opportunity to play host for some spicy activities for the group. Every night brings a new theme to the party. Throughout the festivities stories are told of the island’s sorted past that brings with it a new spook factor. And Eily has recruited someone to mess with her friends and family that comes with a bit of mystery and possible danger. Be prepared for lots of tricks and yummy treats.

And even with all the laughs and fantastic spice, we still get the real emotional aspects from our beloved couples. Those emotions play into how they handle situations and how situations come about because of those emotions. So you can’t help but love The Six even more. And it’s fun to see other couples and groups from this world together in one place again.

I really love this whole interconnected world. And we get some little teasers along the way that make us wonder what might just be coming next. I can’t wait to find out.
