The last heir standing…
I could not wait to read Elliott and Abi’s story. All the build up throughout so much of the series between these two had me so ready for them to get their act together and make a relationship happen. Of course the cliffhanger at the end of this had my jaw dropping and left me anxiously awaiting part two of their story. Poor Abi is having such a hard time dealing with the loss of her only remaining parent. Everything about her life is changing and she’s guarding herself hard in the aftermath. Elliott is fighting his feelings because he wants more for her. But they both have their own darkness that speaks to each other. They’re different but at the same time perfect for each other. I’m counting down for the part two release to see how things work out.

The end of an era…
With this final installment in the Heirs of All Hallows series we’re picking up right where we left off after book seven. Both Abi and Elliot are dealing with the aftermath of Elliot’s savage betrayal, no matter his perceived good intentions. They are struggling to find what’s most important to them, what they’re willing to fight for, and what they’re willing to give up. Decisions are made and lines are drawn.
It was great to see all the twists and turns of their journey. And I loved the little fast forward look at down the road for everyone. This was a great way to close out the series even if it’s sad to see it come to an end. But definitely a series I would re-read down the road.
