Great start…

This was a great start to the series. There was some steamy romance. Lots of danger and action. A badass hero who wants justice and revenge. So much happening. It left me wanting to see more in this world and more of these characters. So of course I dove right into book one – Crucible – right after reading this.

One heck of a twisted love triangle…

This book was so good and action packed! From the moment I read the prequel “Kingmaker” I knew I needed more Adam Reid. In this book one of the series, we got to see how Adam became the ultimate leader of the CSA. He’s determined to make the city safe again while keeping his feelings locked down tight. But there’s just something about Kara that builds a connection he wasn’t ready to face just yet. And to make things more interesting, we’ve got Rick added into the mix to give us the other side of our twisted love triangle. I’m not going to spoil it for you, but let me just say to prepare for things to get intense. I can’t wait to read the next book and find out what happens. I also want to go back and make my way through all the other books in this connected world now. The little clues dropped here and there throughout the story makes it impossible to resist reading all them.

And the plot thickens…

This second book in the series has all the action and intensity you’d expect after the first book. The relationship between Adam and Kara really ramps up. The trust, openness, and affection builds to something more real but they still have a long way to go. There are still so many secrets and unanswered questions but it’s all slowly being revealed. Adam is still holding stuff back from not only Kara but from everyone. He has plans on top of plans on top of plans. And Rick… he’s taking his psychotic behavior to a whole other level. Book 2 leaves us with another big cliffhanger to build up the suspense for the final installment. I’m really looking forward to seeing where things go next.

The epic conclusion…

The final book in the Born to Sin series picks up right where we left off. Commander Adam is locked up and being tortured for information and a confession. Kara is being held my Rick who is quickly losing his sanity and humanity.

Both Adam and Kara are forced to face so much. They both grow, evolve, and become stronger than ever. The true intensions of everyone working behind the scenes comes to light. As a result, the war between all these forces is quickly approaching. People are forced to face the consequences of their actions even though enforcing justice may take quite the tole on those around them.

This final book is action packed. The steam & chemistry, emotions, and growth is all there. So much I did not see coming. So much intensity. I really liked this whole series. And it’s made me want to dive deeper into the different interconnected series in this world.
